PWS House

PWS House is a house divided into two spaces: one for private residential and the other one for rent. The existing building was built in the late 80s/early 90s and needed further renovation. The owner wanted a Japanese-styled house that accommodates a compact living. PWS House uses a lot of wooden materials. The light-colored sungkai (Peronema canescens) wood fits into the rented space that has a more minimalist design. Meanwhile, for the residential side, BASIO chose the Japandi-styled interior since it would go well with the existing jati (teak) wooden furniture.
